Fresno Falcons News Release
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The San Jose Sharks, the Fresno Falcons' National Hockey League affiliate, have assigned second-year forward Glenn Olson to the Falcons. Olson had been playing with the Cleveland Barons, San Jose's American Hockey League affiliate, and will join the ECHL team tonight as Fresno plays at the Johnstown Chiefs.
This will be Olson's second stint with Fresno this season. The 6-foot-4, 220 lb. forward previously played four games with the club and recorded 12 penalty minutes. In 11 games with the Barons this year, Olson has 23 penalty minutes.
Today the Falcons also placed forward Scott Rozendal on seven-day injured reserve.
Tonight's game against the Chiefs begins at 4:30 p.m. Pacific time. Catch all of the live radio play-by-play action on 1550 Sporting News Radio beginning at 4:15 p.m. with the FutureTek Pre-game Show. Fresno will then return home to Save Mart Center to take on the Stockton Thunder on Monday, Dec. 26, at 5 p.m. Admission for children ages 12 and under is free, and the first 2,000 fans will receive a Falcons holiday poster.
