Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue their road series against the New Orleans Zephyrs at 6 p.m. at Zephyr Field. The Dodgers lead the series, 1-0, and have won seven straight games at Zephyr Field, dating back to last season. OKC has won four of the last five games overall, as well as five of the last seven games.
Last Game: Starting pitcher Nick Tepesch allowed one run over eight innings and went 2-for-4 with a RBI, leading the Dodgers to a 6-2 win against New Orleans Friday night at Zephyr Field. Tepesch (7-2) allowed one run and three hits, with no walks and a season-high eight strikeouts. He threw 112 pitches, including 80 strikes. Overall, Tepesch retired 23 of the 27 batters he faced and improved to 3-0 in three starts since joining the Dodgers. At the plate, OKC tied its season high with 14 hits. The Dodgers went in front in the third inning when Rob Segedin hit a two-run homer. The Zephyrs got on the board in the fifth when Kenny Wilson delivered a RBI single. The Dodgers pushed to lead to 5-1 in the sixth. With the bases loaded and none out, New Orleans shortstop Robert Andino committed a fielding error on a grounder hit by Tepesch, allowing two runs to score. Charlie Culberson added a RBI single later in the inning to finish the rally. Austin Barnes finished the scoring for OKC when he homered to lead off the ninth inning. New Orleans struck quickly for a run in the bottom of the ninth inning. Andino doubled off the left field wall, and Austin Nola followed with a RBI single. Dodgers reliever Logan Bawcom then retired the next three batters to wrap up the win. Tepesch and Bawcom combined to strike out nine batters without allowing a walk. New Orleans starting pitcher Jose Urena (1-2) allowed two runs and six hits over five innings, taking the loss. He struck out four and walked three.
Today's Probable Pitcher: Jose De Leon (0-0) returns to the mound for the Dodgers...De Leon has been limited to three innings in each of his previous two starts as he returns to action from a stint on the DL with right shoulder soreness...In his previous outing June 16 against Nashville, De Leon allowed his first runs of the season, giving up three runs and two hits over three innings. All three runs scored on a three-run homer by Ryon Healy with two outs in the first inning. De Leon issued two walks and recorded six strikeouts...Through his first three games this season, De Leon has held opponents 4-for-33 (.111) and he has struck out 21 of the 40 batters he has faced...He joined OKC after spending a month in extended spring training...He split the 2015 season between High-A Rancho Cucamonga and Double-A Tulsa and made a total of 23 starts, going 6-7 with a 2.99 ERA, .208 opponent average, and a 1.08 WHIP. He led all Dodgers minor leaguers and ranked tied for fourth in the Minors with 163 strikeouts in 114.1 IP. De Leon topped the Minors in 2015 with 12.83 strikeouts per nine innings and had six double-digit strikeout games, with a season high of 12 (twice)...De Leon was selected by the Dodgers in the 24th Round of the 2013 Draft from Southern University in Baton Rouge, La...Tonight marks his second start against New Orleans. He pitched five scoreless innings during his season debut May 3 against the Zephyrs in OKC, allowing two hits, with one walk and nine strikeouts...Carlos Frias is expected to piggyback De Leon once again.

This marks OKC's first trip to New Orleans in 2016...The teams split their most recent series May 2-5 in OKC...Over the first five games between the teams this season, the Dodgers have held the Zephyrs to nine total runs and a .142 batting average, while the pitching has staff averaged 10.6 strikeouts per game...The Dodgers have won seven straight games at Zephyr Field, and OKC is 13-4 in the bayou since the start of the 2014 season...The Dodgers won the 2015 series, 12-4, and defeated the Zephyrs in 10 of the final 11 meetings. The 12 victories tied OKC's record for most wins accumulated in one season against New Orleans (1999)...OKC has lost just one season series against the Zephyrs since 2006 (6-9 in 2011).
Road Warriors: The Dodgers have won four of their last five road games, as well as six of the last eight to improve to 21-14 away from OKC. During the eight-game stretch, the Dodgers have not allowed more than three earned runs in any game and have allowed three or fewer runs total seven times. The team's ERA over the last eight road games is 1.78 (14 ER/70.2 IP), with two solo homers allowed.
Fear the Apostrophe: O'Koyea Dickson stayed hot at the plate Friday, going 4-for-5 with a double and run scored. The four-hit game was the third of his pro career, and first since going 4-for-6 for Low-A Great Lakes Aug. 19, 2012 at West Michigan...Dickson has hit safely in a season-best six straight games, going 10-for-22 with six extra-base hits and six RBI. He's also hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games, batting .486 (18x37) with two homers, a triple, and six doubles to go along with nine RBI. During that time he's slugging .838 (31 TB/37 AB)...Dickson has reached base safely in 15 straight games overall, as well as in 17 consecutive starts...Since May 23, Dickson is batting .415 (27x65) with four homers and 15 RBI over 22 games...In June, he's been even hotter at the plate, batting .442 (19x43) and leads the team with 10 extra-base hits this month.
Pitchers on Strike: Over the last three games, the Dodgers have posted 28 strikeouts against only one walk, and over the past five games they have a 7.83 strikeout-to-walk ratio (47 K/6 BB). The Dodgers have not allowed a free pass in 29 consecutive innings, and yesterday marked the seventh game this season the Dodgers did not issue a walk...The Dodgers are tied for the second-fewest walks allowed in the PCL (195), and their 3.04 strikeout-to-walk ratio is slightly behind league-leading Tacoma (3.10)...OKC's pitching staff leads the league with 593 strikeouts. The Dodgers are on pace to notch 1,294 strikeouts this season, which would blow past the team's single-season record of 1,114 set last year.
Austin's Powers: After not going deep all season, Austin Barnes has homered in back-to-back games...Barnes has hit safely in each of his last nine games with OKC, batting .359 (14x39) with four multi-hit games...Despite playing in just 39 of the team's 66 games, Barnes leads OKC with 25 walks and has posted a .409 on-base percentage.
Dinger Details: The Dodgers have homered in a season-best seven straight games. They have gone deep at least once in nine of the 11 of the last 12 games and have hit 16 homers in 16 games so far in June. They averaged 0.62 HR per game in both April and May.
Short Hops: Brandon Hicks has hit safely in four straight games, going 7-for-17 with two home runs...The Dodgers have scored at least five runs in five straight games for the second time this season (April 21-25)...OKC is 8-1 on Saturdays, having won seven straight.
