Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue the second ¡Celebración Cielo Azul! of the season starting at 6:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Tonight's game is part of MiLB's Copa de la Diversión, and the Dodgers will take the field as Cielo Azul de Oklahoma City against the Flying Chanclas de San Antonio...Gates open at 5 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans will receive a Dodgers tumbler. Tonight is also Faith and Family Night and the evening culminates with a postgame concert by Grammy-nominated contemporary Christian singer and songwriter Jeremy Camp.
Last Game: DJ Peters hit two home runs for a second straight game as the Dodgers homered their way to an 11-3 win Friday night to open a three-game series against San Antonio. Peters led off the second inning with a solo homer out to center field. Kyle Garlick followed with a ground-rule double and scored on a double by Zach Reks for a 2-0 OKC advantage. Reks later scored on a wild pitch to make it 3-0. In the third inning, Peters crushed a monster two-run homer run out of the ballpark to left-center field that hit off of the Hampton Inn and Suites located across the alley for a 5-0 advantage. Garlick followed Peters' homer with a single and then scored on a two-run homer by Reks for a 7-0 lead. San Antonio brought home a run on a RBI single by Hernán Pérez in the fourth inning. OKC scored three more runs in the bottom of the fourth on a RBI single by Gavin Lux and two-run homer by Will Smith for a 10-1 lead. San Antonio's Trent Grisham and Lucas Erceg led off the sixth and seventh innings, respectively, with home runs to cut the Dodgers' lead to 10-3. Garlick then belted a towering solo home run out of the ballpark to left field, hitting the parking garage beyond the alley in the bottom of the seventh. Dodgers starting pitcher Daniel Corcino (7-4) picked up his team-leading seventh win of the season, pitching 6.2 innings, allowing three runs and six hits with two walks and six strikeouts. Thomas Jankins (9-3) was charged with the loss for San Antonio.
Today's Probable Pitchers: Tony Gonsolin (1-3) returns to the mound to make his 11th start of the season...Gonsolin returned from the Injured List prior to his last start July 15 at Iowa. He opened the game and pitched 1.2 innings, allowing two runs on two hits with one walk and three strikeouts. It marked the first time in 10 starts this season with OKC he was scored upon in the first inning...Gonsolin made his Major League debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers June 26 at Arizona. He allowed six runs (four earned) and six hits, including a home run, over 4.0 innings and during the loss...Previously, Gonsolin missed more than five weeks after going to the IL in mid-April with a side strain...In games with OKC, he's holding PCL opponents to a .228 batting average and has 38 strikeouts in 31.1 IP...Gonsolin entered the season ranked as the Dodgers' No. 8 prospect by Baseball America after being named the 2018 Dodgers' Branch Rickey Minor League Pitcher of the Year, when he led Dodgers minor league pitchers in ERA (2.60), wins (10) and K's (155)...The Dodgers selected Gonsolin in the ninth round of the 2016 MLB Draft out of St. Mary's College.
Mitchell White (3-4) is set to piggyback Gonsolin's start and make his 11th appearance with OKC...White followed Gonsolin and Justin Grimm on the mound July 15 at Iowa, allowing three runs and four hits over 4.0 innings. He did not issue a walk and recorded six strikeouts. All three runs scored on solo homers...White has allowed a total of six runs and 13 hits over his last four appearances (16.2 IP) after allowing 11 runs and 14 hits over his two outings prior (8.1 IP)...In seven starts with Double-A Tulsa, White went 1-0 with a 2.10 ERA. He owned a .165 opponent's average and 0.83 WHIP and held opponents scoreless in four of his seven starts while racking up 37 strikeouts over 30.0 IP...White entered the 2019 season rated as the Dodgers' No. 9 prospect by Baseball America...He was selected in the second round (65th overall) of the 2016 MLB Draft out of Santa Clara University.

This marks the third series of the season between OKC and San Antonio and second in OKC. The teams last met at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark to open the season April 4-8. The Missions won the series, 3-2, with four of the five games being decided by one or two runs, and three games decided in the winning team's final at-bat...The teams most recently played April 25-28 in San Antonio during OKC's first-ever trip to Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. The Missions won the first four games before the Dodgers won the series finale to avoid a sweep...San Antonio joined the league for 2019 as the Milwaukee Brewers' Triple-A affiliate following the relocation of the Colorado Springs franchise. The Missions previously played in the Double-A Texas League from 1968-2018...The Dodgers exploded for 11 runs, 11 hits and five homers last night. Over the first 10 meetings between the teams this season, the Dodgers batted just .199 with 27 runs and seven home runs.
Luxury Tax: Gavin Lux went 1-for-4 with a RBI single, walk and run scored Friday and has now hit safely in each of his first 16 Triple-A games. His career-best streak of five straight games with a home run came to an end Friday, but since joining OKC, Lux is batting .515 (35-for-68) with a .566 OBP, 1.015 SLG and 1.580 OPS. The shortstop has nine multi-hit games, 18 extra-base hits, 23 RBI and 26 runs scored so far with Oklahoma City...Since his promotion June 27, Lux's OPS, AVG, OBP, SLG, 35 hits, 18 extra-base hits, 26 runs scored and 69 total bases are the most among all players in the domestic Minors or Majors...The 21-year-old also leads Dodgers full-season minor leaguers with a .356 AVG and 115 hits.
Go DJ, That's My DJ: DJ Peters smashed two home runs Friday night for his second multi-homer outing in as many games as the outfielder boosted his home run total to eight since joining the Dodgers June 27. Peters finished the game with three hits and a three RBI and has now reached base in each of his first 20 Triple-A games as he picked up his ninth career multi-homer game and second of the season overall...Peters is slashing .370/.478/.795 so far with OKC with 15 walks, 19 runs scored, 14 extra-base hits, nine multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games. Since joining the team June 27, Peters is tied for the PCL lead in homers and ranks third in the league in OPS, fourth in SLG, and fifth in OBP.
Garlick Press: Kyle Garlick followed up his three-homer game Thursday with three more hits and another home run Friday. On Thursday in Iowa, Garlick tallied his second game of the season with three dingers, previously accomplished May 5 at New Orleans. Garlick's three-homer outing was just the eighth in OKC's modern PCL history and he is the first Oklahoma City player since the team rejoined the PCL in 1998 with two career three-homer games...Since his return to OKC July 11, Garlick is batting .419 (13x31) with nine extra-base hits.
Dinger Details: The Dodgers hit five home runs Friday and have now homered in a season-best 12 consecutive games. Since the streak began during Game 2 of a doubleheader July 5, they have hit an incredible 30 homers during the stretch - most in all of professional baseball - including 13 over the last two games...The Dodgers have collected five straight multi-homer games for the first time this season (21 HR), and in each of the last four games, there has been at least one individual multi-homer performance, as well as five in the team's last eight games.
Boom Goes the Dynamite: Oklahoma City has compiled 29 runs and 31 hits - including 13 homers and 18 extra-base hits - over the last two games and also recorded double-digit runs for the third time in four games Friday. Over the nine games following the All-Star Break, the Dodgers are batting .315 with a PCL-leading 73 runs, 26 home runs and .637 SLG.
Around the Horn: The Dodgers are 5-1 over their last six home games after going 13-26 through the first 39 games at The Brick...Each of Will Smith's last five hits have been home runs. Going back to June 12, Smith now has 11 home runs over his last 16 games with OKC, accounting for 11 of his 16 hits during that span...The OKC pitching staff has 51 strikeouts against 11 walks over the past five games...Including last night, reliever Shea Spitzbarth has stranded each of his 11 inherited runners with OKC.
