Bees to Welcome 13 Millionth Fan to Smith's Ballpark

The Salt Lake Bees expect to welcome their 13 millionth fan to Smith's Ballpark on Saturday night against the Las Vegas Aviators. The fortunate 13-millionth fan will receive a prize package from the Salt Lake Bees, as the team celebrates another milestone during its 25th anniversary season.

The lucky fan will receive season tickets for up to four to the remainder of the 2019 Bees season and another set of season tickets for the 2020 season. Also included will be a suite night at Smith's Ballpark during the 2020 season and a prize pack from Vivint Smart Home Arena that will include tickets to a Utah Jazz game, Carrie Underwood, Disney on Ice, Harlem Globetrotters and the Salt Lake Shootout between the Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks.

Entering Friday, Smith's Ballpark has hosted 1,845 Bees games and has amassed a total attendance of 12,991,153, leaving the ballpark just 8,847 fans short of 13 million. Over the 26 seasons of baseball, Smith's Ballpark has averaged 7,041 fans per game and has drawn at least 450,000 fans in each of the last eight seasons.

The Bees host six more games during their homestand with three games against the Las Vegas Aviators Friday-Sunday followed by a three-game series against the Albuquerque Isotopes Tuesday-Thursday which includes Pioneer Day fireworks following the games on July 23 and July 24.
