Dayton Dragons News Release

Grand Chute, WI - Continuing rain and wet field conditions have caused the postponement of the third game of the four game series between the Dayton Dragons (18-18) and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (16-19). Sunday's Mother's Day matinee from Fox Cities Stadium is the second game of the series to get postponed after Friday's opening game of the series was rained out. The Dragons and Timber Rattlers will play a double header, weather permitting on Monday afternoon with a 12:35 Eastern Time first pitch.

The Dragons and Timber Rattlers each made franchise history during the second game of the double header on Saturday night. Dayton's Johnny Cueto threw the first no hitter in both Dragons franchise history and the first no hitter in a professional game played in the 12 year history of Fox Cities Stadium. The five inning no hitter is an official, albeit weather shortened, game. The teams split the DH on Saturday with Wisconsin winning the first game 9-6 and the Dragons taking the night cap, 6-0.

1410 ESPN Radio will broadcast both games of Monday afternoon's double header live beginning with the Dragons pre game show at 12:00 PM. The first pitch on game one Monday afternoon is scheduled for 12:35 PM. All Dragons games in 2006 are carried on the internet via Broadcast Monsters.com at www.daytondragons.com.
