
Community Basket Drawing Postponed

Burlington, IA (May 14, 2006) - Despite light rain throughout the morning, today's game between the Burlington Bees and the Swing of Quad Cities is still scheduled for 2pm at Community Field. Due to the soggy conditions however, the drawing for Iowa's Largest Community Basket has been postponed until this Friday, May 19th during the Bees' game against the Lansing Lugnuts. All of the festivities surrounding the annual Community Basket Day will take place, including the opportunity for the cash prizes if the winner is in attendance and for someone in the stands. Fans can continue to buy Community Basket tickets throughout the home stand at Community Field. On Friday, there will be a special gates opening time of 5:30.
