New York City Football Club Continues COVID-19 Relief Efforts with NY Common Pantry During Thanksgiving Week
November 19, 2020 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
New York City FC News Release
Although Thanksgiving 2020 will look different this year with social distancing restrictions, New York City Football Club (NYCFC) will extend the Club's ongoing partnership with NY Common Pantry to deliver life-saving meals in areas hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. As health and government agencies warn of a second wave in NYC, the Club has continued to make COVID relief a top priority.
NYCFC Chief Executive Officer (Brad Sims), COO and Chief Commercial Officer (Matt Goodman), and COO and Chief Legal and Administrative Officer (Jennifer O'Sullivan) - along with Club partner Fidelis' Senior Marketing Director (George Rodriguez) - will spend the day in Harlem distributing food to New Yorkers in need and serving hot meals.
This volunteer work expands on the 150,000 meals that NYCFC and partners have already donated throughout the pandemic through NY Common Pantry.
