Nelson Placed on Disabled List, Bianchi Returns

Isotopes infielder Chris Nelson has been placed on the seven-day disabled list with a lower-body injury. Nelson, 30, has appeared in 34 games for the Isotopes this season, registering a .227 average (25-for-110), one home run, and 18 RBI.
Taking his place on the Isotopes roster is fellow infielder Jeff Bianchi. The 29-year-old was placed on the disabled list May 22 with a thigh injury. In 23 games with the Isotopes, Bianchi is hitting .313 (21-for-67) with six RBI.
