From the Notes

By the Numbers - 1: Thursday's game marked the Aces' first loss in four extra-inning games this year. Reno is still far better in free baseball than it was last season, when the Aces

were 1-8 in extra-inning games.

Killer B's, Reno Style: Sócrates Brito and Zach Borenstein both tied their career highs with four hits last night. Borenstein accomplished the feat for the eighth time in his career (last: 6/16/15 vs. Birmingham), while Brito turned the trick for the sixth time (last: 8/14/15 vs. Mississippi).

Tough Luck: Braden Shipley delivered his seventh quality start in 11 outings last night. However, he took a no-decision after the Aces' bullpen could not hold the lead. For the season, the former Nevada Wolf Pack star has taken five no-decisions despite allowing a total of six runs in those games (33.0 IP).
