OMAHA - Your last chance to see the Omaha Royals in action before the All-Star break is coming up this weekend at Rosenblatt Stadium. The three-game series with the Oklahoma RedHawks features the annual Tribute to the Negro Leagues Night, as well as an Omaha Royals cap giveaway. A full rundown of the festivities follows:

Friday, July 8, 7:05 p.m.: Tribute to the Negro Leagues Night is presented by Coca-Cola, AM 1110 KFAB & Cox Communications! The 1st 1,000 fans will receive a book sampler of "How to Be Like Jackie Robinson: Life Lessons from Baseball's Greatest Hero"...All fans are invited to enjoy post-game fireworks!

Saturday, July 9, 6:05 p.m.: Gates open at 4 and the 1st 1,500 fans receive Omaha Royals caps...plus fans are invited to enjoy a post-game concert featuring Grupo Dinastya, brought to you by Security National Bank, Radio Lobo 97.7 FM and El Perico! The game will be broadcast live on NET in Spanish (and, as usual, in English on Magic 1490 and at www.Oroyals.com).

Sunday, July 10, 1:35 p.m..: It's Safety Day, with a safety fair prior to the Royals-RedHawks game and a Police vs. Firefighters softball game afterwards...plus, it's another Family Fun Day, with kids invited to run the bases after the Royals game! The game will be broadcast in Spanish on Radio Lobo 97.7 FM (in addition to the usual English broadcast on Magic 1490 and on the team's website).
