From the Notes

Another Double Dip: Nashville will play its third doubleheader since June 27 today. The Sounds swept a twinbill against the Oklahoma City Dodgers on June 27 by winning 5-4 and 1-0. In a doubleheader against Omaha on July 2, Nashville suffered 7-0 and 6-3 losses. On July 21, the Sounds and Dodgers will hook up for another doubleheader at First Tennessee Park, Nashville's fourth doubleheader in less than one month.

Four and Looking for More: With four consecutive wins, the Sounds will look to match their season-long winning streak of five games in game one this afternoon. Nashville won five straight from April 14-19 before the Cubs snapped the streak on April 20 by handing the Sounds a 7-1 loss.

Ramon's Red-Hot July: Outfielder Ramón Laureano has hit safely in all 10 games in the month of July after another base hit last night. He's hitting .351 (13-for-37) with 6 RBI, 6 runs, 3 home runs, 1 triple, 1 double and 3 walks over the 10-game stretch. It's his longest hitting streak of the season. Laureano's 10-game hitting streak is the fourth Nashville hitting streak of 10+ games in 2018. Nick Martini has two and Anthony Garcia has the other.
