Nailers to Skate at Wheeling Park

WHEELING, WV – The Wheeling Nailers announced today that the team will participate in a public skate session at the Wheeling Park Memorial Ice Rink on Sunday, December 1, 2002.

The session will be from 2:30 - 4:30pm. There will be opportunities for autographs at this general session. The Wheeling Park Ice Rink is located on National Road in Wheeling.

"This is a great opportunity for the guys to mingle with the public," stated Head Coach John Brophy. "A lot of events like this take place at this level and I am glad we are a part of it," Brophy continued.

The Nailers will try to hold two events like this before the end of the season.

The Nailers play three games this weekend, Friday in Johnstown, Saturday in Roanoke and Sunday at the Wheeling Civic Center against the Cincinnati Cyclones. Sunday's game will begin at 6:00p.m. with the first 2,500 fans receiving a Nailers Miniature Puck Keychain courtesy of Whiteside, "The Official GM Dealership of the Wheeling Nailers."
