
Patafie works 1,800th Pro Hockey Game

Augusta, GA â The Augusta Lynx will honor Athletic Trainer Brian Patafie this evening for the incredible feat of working his 1,800th consecutive pro hockey game.
Brian Patafie started his career back in 1978 when he accepted a job out of college as the trainer for the Utica Mohawks of the Eastern League. From there he spent two years each with the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League and the Nova Scotia Voyagers of the American Hockey League before landing a job with the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames organization. In Calgary, Patafie forged friendships and business relationships over a 15-year stay that saw him work at every level of the game. In 1998, Patafie headed south to Augusta where he is now the Athletic Trainer for the Augusta Lynx.
