Nailers Appear At Soup Kitchen

Wheeling, WV - The Wheeling Nailers, $B!F(BAA' affiliate of the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins, are always proud to be a part of the community. And they showed their commitment to the area yet again this week as Nailers players visited the Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling to help the staff serve good food and hand out free Nailers tickets to area needy families.

Wheeling players Jordan Fox, Adam Berkhoel, Ryan Schnell and Lane Caffaro visited the Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling at 1610 Eoff Street to assist the staff and also help promote their tireless efforts.

Since 1982, the Soup Kitchen has provided warm meals and companionship as a non-profit inter-faith ministry incorporated with the State of West Virginia. They serve breakfast Monday through Saturday from 8:30-9:30 and serve lunch from 11-1.

The Nailers players, staff and mascots make their presence felt in the community as they make more than 100 visits and appearances at numerous elementary schools, community events and more throughout the year. The Nailers would also like to extend a special thanks to their fans for supporting the team's charitable causes.
