K-Wings' Jones Returns

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Matt Jones has been returned from the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.

Recording 27 points (17 goals, 10 assists) in only 29 games with Kalamazoo, Jones ranks ninth on the K-Wings in scoring.

Jones, who has missed the past 23 games for Kalamazoo, produced six points (1 goal, 1 assist) in five games in his most recent call-up to Worcester. In total, Jones has notched eight points (5 goals, 3 assists) in 19 contests with the Sharks.

The native of Kentwood, Michigan will travel with Kalamazoo, as they begin a three-game road swing this Friday, March 26th with a 7:35 p.m. encounter against the Wheeling Nailers.

The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium Wednesday, March 31st with a 7p.m. encounter versus Cincinnati Cyclones.
