Salmon Kings' Brandt Returns From Moose

Boise, ID - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that forward Andy Brandt has returned from his loan to the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Moose.

The 26-year-old returns after his second call-up to the Moose this season. Brandt did not in any gains on his current promotion. For the season he has participated in three games with Manitoba where he recorded no points or penalty minutes. Brandt previously spent time in the AHL this season on loan to the Lake Erie Monsters in January, where he dressed for two games without points or penalty minutes.

The native of Wasau, Wisconsin has competed in 59 games with the Salmon Kings this season amassing 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points while serving 36 minutes in penalties.

For his professional career, Brandt has 102 points (40g-62a) in 212 games played with 103 penalty minutes.

The Salmon Kings' roster now sits at 24 players (15 forwards, 7 defenseman, and 2 goaltenders).

The Salmon Kings finish their six-game road trip this week in Idaho with games versus the Steelheads on March 26th and March 27th. Victoria returns home to host the Utah Grizzlies on Wednesday, March 31st, Friday, April 2nd, and Saturday, April 3rd for the final series of the 2009-10 regular season.
