Thunder Giving Away Free HDTV's Saturday
March 25, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL)
Stockton Thunder News Release
STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, a two-time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," announced two separate brand new, Vizio High Definition Television models will be given away in a drawing scheduled during the Thunder home game on Saturday, March 27 against the Las Vegas Wranglers at Stockton Arena, starting at 7:30 p.m.
A contest that involves modern, popular technology like never before in Thunder history, all fans in attendance are eligible to win an HDTV in two separate drawings and will be entered to win by simply completing a raffle ticket available at their seat when entering Stockton Arena for that night's game.
"As we head to the finish line of the 2009-10 regular season, we're looking for creative ways to give back to the most dedicated, loyal and passionate fans in the ECHL," said Thunder president Dan Chapman. "We're pleased to present this contest to reward those fans in our traditionally festive and boisterous fan atmosphere, an ideal setting for the final Saturday regular season home game."
Two lucky fans will be announced as winners during the course of Saturday's game and will be notified by a special videoboard announcement.
A terrific addition to any home or office that captures the brightest and clearest quality that bring hockey games, movies or other sporting events to life-like quality, the two 19-inch HDTV models offer 1080p compatibility with resolutions up to 1366x768.
The models feature a viewing angle of up to 170 degrees, an easily viewable angle from virtually anywhere in the room and an integrated high definition tuner to enjoy HD and regular television programs without paying for premium HD service.
Tickets for Saturday's game are available and can be purchased by calling Stockton Arena at (209) 373-1700 or by visiting www.StocktonTickets.com. Group tickets, starting at just $7 per person, are available by calling the Thunder at (209) 373-1500.
