
Everblades Sign Goaltender and Two Assigned from Albany

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush in coordination with head coach Malcolm Cameron have announced that they have signed goaltender Adrien Lemay. In addition, the Everblades have been assigned forward Matthew Pistilli and have been loaned forward Cedric Lalonde-McNicoll from Albany (AHL).
Lemay, 20, joins the Everblades after spending the past two seasons with the Lewiston Maineaics of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In 60 games this season, the Moncton, New Brunswick native has posted a record of 23-31-3 with a 3.95 goals against and.895 save percentage. Lemay is expected to join the Everblades on their current road trip and will wear sweater #1.
Pistilli, 21, joins the Everblades for the second time this season and first time in 2010. The Montreal Quebec native has scored a goal and an assist in six appearances for the 'Blades. Pistilli has skated in 41 games with the River Rats this season and has five goals and eight points with 10 penalty minutes. Pistilli will join the club immediately and wear sweater #12.
McNicoll, 21, joins the Everblades for the first time this season. The rookie centerman has played in three games in the ECHL this season with the Charlotte Checkers. He scored a goal and three assists in in his brief ECHL stint. McNicoll has spent the majority of the season in the American Hockey League with Lake Erie. He has appeared in 45 games with the Monsters and totaled 13 points (5-813) with 10 penalty minutes. The speedy forward skated in seven games with Albany this season and potted two goals. McNicoll was teammates with forward Matthew Pistilli in Shawinigan in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. McNicoll will join the club immediately and wear sweater #11.
The Florida Everblades and Charlotte Checkers meet for the final time ever in the regular season in Charlotte's Time Warner Cable Arena tonight at 7:00 p.m. Florida then travels to Gwinnett to battle the Gladiators on Saturday and Sunday at The Arena at the Gwinnett Center for the final two times in the regular season.
