Mueller Recalled by Nashville

Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Chris Mueller Milwaukee (AHL). In addition, the Admirals have recalled forward Chris Cahill from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

Mueller leads the Admirals in points (9g-8a-17pts) and is tied for the team lead in goals through 19 games in 2011-12. The West Seneca, N.Y., native is also tied for 14th in the AHL in power-play goals (4). A season ago, the 5-11, 203-pound forward appeared in his first 15 NHL contests with Nashville, registering three assists. Signed as a free agent on Dec. 27, 2010, Mueller posted 104 points (42g-62a) in 166 games with Michigan State University from 2004-08, and helped the Spartans win the 2007 NCAA National Championship.

Cahill, who has six points (2g-4a) in ten games with the Cyclones, will join the Ads for their game tonight at 7:00 pm in Peoria against the Rivermen.

The Ads next home game is next Friday, December 9th at 7:00 pm against the Grand Rapids Griffins.
