
Brett Sterling and Cade Fairchild Return to Rivermen

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has assigned defenseman Cade Fairchild and forward Brett Sterling to the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Fairchild, 21, made his NHL debut in the Blues' 2-1 victory in Washington on Nov. 29. With Peoria, he has appeared in 19 games recording seven points (two goals, five assists) and a league-leading +16 rating.
Sterling, 27, has made four appearances with the Blues this season including his debut with the club in their 3-2 overtime victory in Pittsburgh on Nov. 23. With Peoria, he has dressed in 18 games totaling 22 points including 12 goals. His 12 goals are tied for the team lead and rank him third in the AHL.
The Rivermen return home to Carver Arena tonight to face the Milwaukee Admirals at 7 p.m. It is their first home game since Nov. 11 following a season-long nine-game road trip. For tickets call 309-676-1040 or visit www.rivermen.net.
