MONTGOMERY, Ala., May 14, 2014 - The Montgomery Biscuits have promoted current Assistant General Manager, Scott Trible, to General Manager.

Trible has been with the Biscuits for six years, joining the team as Corporate Account Executive in July 2008. Trible was promoted to Director of Sales in August 2010 where he oversaw a sales staff that expanded popular games such as Grand Slam School Day and Family Faith Night. Trible was promoted to Assistant General Manager in April 2013.

Trible's responsibilities will include serving as liaison between the Biscuits and the club's parent affiliate, the Tampa Bay Rays, overseeing ticket sales, and continuing to enhance the relationship between the Biscuits and the Montgomery community.

"I have been proud to see the changes in Montgomery in my short time here and seeing first hand the impact that an organization like the Biscuits can have on a community," Trible said. "We are excited for the future and want to continue to push the envelope so that our fans and the City of Montgomery continue to have the most entertaining experiences at Riverwalk Stadium."

Trible began his career in 2004 as a Promotions Coordinator for the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League and later as Director of Stadium Operations and Assistant General Manager. He also worked for the Modesto Nuts of the California League as Concessions Manager.

"The first minor league baseball game I ever saw was actually working as an intern. From the time I first saw the interaction between the fans and the organization, I knew it was something I wanted to do for my career. Eleven years later I am grateful to (Biscuits' Owner) Sherrie Myers, (Biscuits' President) Greg Rauch and the Biscuits organization for this opportunity," Trible said.

An Evansville, IN native, Trible earned a degree in Sports Administration from Ball State University.

"From day one we knew we had hired Scott for his industry experience, integrity and strategic thinking," Sherrie Myers, Biscuits Owner, said.
