Generals and Smokies Series Finale Cancelled on Wednesday

JACKSON, TENN. (MAY 14, 2014) - Wednesday's series finale between the Jackson Generals and Tennessee Smokies has been cancelled due to the rain earlier this morning and the forecast of additional rain this afternoon at The Ballpark at Jackson.
The game will not be made up, as the two teams don't meet again until the second half of the season. Any fans with tickets to today's game may exchange them for any other game during the 2014 regular season.
The Generals will continue their homestand on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. welcoming the Montgomery Biscuits (Tampa Bay) for a five-game series. The pitching matchup for the series opener has not been announced.
Thursday is Dollar Night, presented by MobileNation with $1 drinks, hot dogs, popcorn and general admission tickets. Reserved seats are reduced to $5 on Thursday's. For tickets to any of the Generals' 2014 home games call 731-988-5299 or go online to jacksongeneralsbaseball.com.
