Monarchs to Feature Inaugural Girl Scouts Jersey

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will feature the inaugural Girl Scouts jersey when the team takes on the Hershey Bears at 3:00 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Sunday, March 23, Monarchs President Darren Abbott announced today.
The Monarchs players will showcase the green jersey with the Girl Scouts insignia on the bottom of both the front and back of each jersey as they celebrate Max's birthday during Sunday's game. The Monarchs and Girl Scouts logos will also be highlighted on opposite shoulders. The team will hold a silent auction during the game and a postgame live auction where fans can bid on a jersey of their choice. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains.
"The Girl Scouts have been a great partner of the Monarchs throughout the years and it is an honor for our players to wear these specialty jerseys," said Abbott. "We look forward to raising money for the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains while celebrating Max's birthday."
The Monarchs travel to the Mass Mutual Center to battle the Springfield Falcons on Saturday, March 22.
