
Face off against Cancer Set for April 5th

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced that the annual Face Off Against Cancer presented by Lourdes will take place Saturday, April 5, when the Sens host the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05p.m.
Fans attending the game are encouraged to visit the various cancer awareness displays and meet the 2014 American Cancer Society Relay for Life teams that will be present throughout the arena concourse. Many teams will features raffles and prizes to encourage donations.
"Fighting cancer takes a community which is why the American Cancer Society is pleased to join with Lourdes and the Senators for the 10th Annual Face Off Against Cancer event, to benefit our Relay For Life," said Mallory Evans with the American Cancer Society. "Relay For Life celebrates survivors, remembers loved ones lost, and allows everyone the chance to fight back against this disease. Funds raised through the Face Off will support our lifesaving work in the Southern Tier."
During the game's first intermission, all cancer survivors present are welcome to participate in a Survivor's Lap around the ice. Those interested in participating in the lap will enter the ice through the corner located by Section 26.
Together over the past nine seasons, the B-Sens and Lourdes have raised over $80,000 for cancer research.
Special for this night only, the Binghamton Senators are offering $15 tickets with $2.00 being donated to the American Cancer Society. This deal is only good through the B-Sens Executive Office located on the third floor of the Arena or by calling (607) 722-7367.
Cancer Survivors can receive a FREE TICKET with the purchase of a $10 ticket through any of the area Relay for Life teams participating in the event. For information on how to purchase tickets through the individual teams call the American Cancer Society at (607) 766-6900.
