IceCaps Sign Colton Beck to ATO

The St. John's IceCaps announced today they have signed forward Colton Beck to an amateur tryout contract.

Beck, 23, recently finished a four-year career at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, where he recorded 101 points (42G, 59A) and 81 penalty minutes in 146 games. Serving as team captain in 2013-14 for his senior season, Beck set a career-high with 39 points (14G, 25A) in 37 games to go along with 35 penalty minutes.

The Langley, BC native will join the IceCaps on their upcoming six-game road trip.
