
Jarnkrok Recalled by Nashville

Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Calle Jarnkrok from the Admirals. He is expected to make his NHL debut tomorrow night when the Predators take on the Calgary Flames.
Jarnkrok has five goals and seven points in five games with the Admirals since joining them following Nashville's acquisition of him from Detroit on March 5, helping Milwaukee win four of those five contests. The Gavle, Sweden native has posted 43 points (18g-25a) in 62 games during his first full season in North America split between Milwaukee and Grand Rapids. He was recently rated No. 41 in The Hockey News' Top 50 NHL-affiliated prospects.
The 6-0, 176-pound center helped Sweden win gold at the 2013 World Championships, and played with current Preds forwards Patric Hornqvist and Viktor Stalberg at the 2012 Worlds. Jarnkrok ranked ninth in Swedish League points in 2012-13 (13g-29a-42pts), and won a Swedish League title in 2012 with Brynas, playing alongside Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm . Detroit's second selection, 51st overall (second round), in the 2010 Entry Draft led all junior players in goals (11) and points (29) during the title-winning season of 2011-12, finishing runner-up in Rookie of the Year voting to Ekholm.
The Admirals kick-off a four-game road trip on Friday, March 21st at 6:30 pm CT in Hamilton against the Bulldogs and don't have another home game until they host the Lake Erie Monsters on Friday, March 28th at 7 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
