
Fourth-Annual 'Pucks for Paws' Night Set for March 29

Syracuse, NY -The Syracuse Crunch will host the fourth-annual 'Pucks for Paws' night at the club's home game vs. Binghamton on Saturday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets for 'Pucks for Paws' are available for $15 for humans and $5 for dogs. All proceeds from the dog tickets will benefit the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation. Humans and dogs will be able to sit together in the stage section of the arena. All dogs must be escorted by their owners at all times on a short leash.
There will also be limited edition 'Pucks for Paws' mystery pucks sold for $10 with the proceeds benefiting the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation. The exclusive 'Pucks for Paws' pucks will feature the 'Pucks for Paws' logo on one side and the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation logo on the other, and will be signed by a member of the Syracuse Crunch. Along with the pucks the night will feature a silent auction benefiting the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation. Local animal rescues, adoptable dogs and vendors will be tabling in Memorial Hall.
Additionally, the Crunch will be conducting a pet supply drive on 'Pucks for Paws' night. Donation bins will be placed at the arena doors to collect needed pet supplies for local shelters. Shelters are in need of pet food, blankets, collars, leashes, toys and cleaning supplies.

The Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation is a not-for-profit organization started in 2008 by Central New York's meteorologist Wayne Mahar in honor of his mother, who, like Wayne, was an animal lover. Through various events, the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation raises and distributes money to animal welfare organizations throughout Central New York. The Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation supports organizations that help provide unfortunate animals with a second chance of a better life and to date has donated more than $70,000 to local rescues. Donations go to shelters, humane societies, animal adoption agencies, etc. in the State of New York.
