January 25, 2007 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Manchester Monarchs News Release

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the top affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have played host to 1,994,748 fans (including playoffs) at the Verizon Wireless Arena in just under six years. They'll welcome their two-millionth fan to the arena on Friday night when they host the Houston Aeros at 7:35 p.m.

Thanks to barcoding technology, the Monarchs will be able to identify their two-millionth fan the moment he or she enters the arena. The two-millionth fan will later be announced during the game.

He or she will receive a pair of Monarchs season tickets for the 2007-08 season, a team autographed stick, a meet-and-greet with their favorite Monarchs player, a special commemorative jersey, a $100 gift certificate for the Monarchs Pro Shop and more.

The Monarchs welcomed their millionth fan, Mike Coons, on Wednesday, March 10, 2004.

The Monarchs next game is at home on Friday, January 26 against the Aeros at the Verizon Wireless Arena with a 7:35 p.m. start time.
