GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Thursday recalled forward Josh Langfeld from the Grand Rapids Griffins.
Langfeld, 29, ranks among the Griffins' top scorers with 13 goals (3rd), 19 assists (2nd), 32 points (2nd) and six power play goals (2nd) in 38 contests. In eight games with the Red Wings this season, he shows one assist, two penalty minutes and a plus-three rating while averaging 6:13 in ice time.
Langfeld will be available to play for Detroit tomorrow night in an 8 p.m. EST visit to St. Louis.
