Friday, SHARKS 3 vs. Devils 1
Graham Mink scored twice in the second period to give the home team a cushion, and Worcester held on for the 3-1 win. Chris Minar! d scored for the Devils in the third period, but the Sharks penalty killing saved the game. Lowell had four power plays in the third, including a two-man advantage for 1:37, but could not get the equalizer.
Saturday, Wolf Pack 3 vs. DEVILS 2
Dan McGillis and Stephen Gionta scored in the second period to give the Devils a 2-1 lead heading into the third frame, but the Wolf Pack rallied for the win. They tied the game 33 seconds into the third period, and Francis Lessard broke the tie at 11:09.
Sunday, Sharks 3 vs. DEVILS 2
The Devils scored first in the game, but Worcester tallied three straight goals, including two in the third period, to take the win. Andy Greene scored a goal in his return from New Jersey to cut the lead to one, but the Sharks kept the Devils off the board the rest of the way. Stephen Gionta scored for the second straight game.
In the standings
The Devils find themselves below .500 for the first time since early November, and failed to gain ground in the Atlantic Division. Their 42 points are three points behind the sixth place Springfield Falcons. They are five points behind the Worcester Sharks for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Atlantic.
Coming Up
The Devils travel to Springfield to take on the Falcons on Friday night at 7:35 p.m. They return home on Saturday, January 28th to host the Portland Pirates. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The Devils are 1-2-0-0 against Portland on the season, but the last time they met was November 24th.
The 2007 CCM AHL All-Star Skills Competition will take place this Sunday, January 28th at 7:00 p.m. from the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto. It will be carried live on the NHL Center Ice Package, as well as online through B2 Networks, who are offering it free of charge. The AHL All-Star Game will take place on Monday the 29th at 7:00 p.m. The game will be carried live on NESN, as well as on the NHL Center Ice Package and B2 Networks (free of charge).

The Devils have a new mini-plan ticket package available. Around the Horns
After 29 straight games without a goal, Devils LW Stephen Gionta scored in two straight, Saturday and Sunday. His last goal came on October 20th in Portland.
D Andy Greene returned from his first NHL stint this weekend, and scored a goal in his first game back on Sunday. In five games with New Jersey, Greene recorded one assist. He has 2g-3a-5pts in his last five AHL contests.
The Devils have allowed exactly three goals in seven consecutive games. They have lost by a score of 3-2 in three of their last four games.
Lowell is riding their longest winless streak of the season, at four games (0-3-1-0).
LW Tuomas Pihlman has an assist in each of the last three games he played. He was scratched on Saturday.
Portland and Lowell meet Saturday for the first time since November 24th. The Devils face off against the Pirates seven times in their final 35 games of the season.
