Dallas Recalls Forward

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced that the Dallas Stars have recalled Forward Krys Barch from the Iowa Stars on Thursday morning.

Initially recalled by the Dallas Stars back on January 14th, Barch made his NHL debut on January 15th against the Los Angeles Kings. He skated in three games with Dallas before being returned to Iowa on January 22nd. The six-year professional has skated in 31 games for Iowa this season, posting three goals and five assists: 31(3/5/8). He currently leads Iowa with 110 penalty minutes. The 6-2, 215-pound Hamilton, Ontario native was signed by Dallas as a Free Agent on July 18th, 2006.

IOWA STARS INFO: The Stars travel to Milwaukee to play the Admirals tonight and then travel down to Peoria, Illinois to face the Rivermen on Friday night. Iowa returns home to host the Chicago Wolves again on Saturday, January 27th. Wells Fargo Arena game time is 7:00 PM. Saturday is All-Star poster giveaway night. The first 2,000 fans will receive a poster of Iowa Stars AHL All-Star Joel Lundqvist. Stick around after the game and have Joel sign your poster!
