Blues Send for Sejna Under Emergency Conditions

Peoria, Ill. (January 25, 2007) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today that left wing Peter Sejna has been recalled under emergency conditions from the Peoria Rivermen, the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate.

Sejna, 27, notched a goal in his season debut on Jan. 15 at Phoenix. He has skated in four games with the Blues, tallying one goal. Sejna currently ranks second on the Rivermen with 36 points (12 goals, 24 assists) in 39 games played.

The Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia native was signed by the Blues as an undrafted free agent on April 6, 2003.

On Friday, January 26, the Rivermen host the Iowa Stars at 7:30 p.m. The first 2,000 fans receive a Rivermen 25th anniversary puck, courtesy of CEFCU - Your Credit Union. It is a Coca-Cola Insight Date Night. Fans receive two (2) tickets, two (2) Cokes and a tub of popcorn for just $25. Dave Mackey will appear and sign autographs as part of U.S. Cellular's 25 Greatest Rivermen of All-Time; the first 2,500 fans receive a Dave Mackey player card. And Claude Scott - the Happy Trumpeter - will entertain the crowd.
