Monarchs Take Part In Read Across America

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, participated in the National Education Association's Read Across America program as left wing Matt Moulson, defenseman Joey Mormina and defenseman Richard Petiot read Z Is For Zamboni to three area schools this week.
Moulson shared the hockey book with students at Underhill School in Hooksett, New Hampshire; Mormina passed the message on to Lamprey River Elementary School in Raymond, New Hampshire; and Petiot read at Mount St. Mary Academy in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Read Across America is the nation's largest reading celebration and is commemorating their 10th Anniversary. All around the nation, reading celebrations big and small are putting the joy of reading front and center.
The Monarchs continue their longest road trip of the season with a stop in Springfield, Massachusetts, to face the Springfield Falcons on Friday, March 16 at 7:35 p.m. at the MassMutual Center.
