AHL announces suspension

March 16, 2007 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. . The American Hockey League today announced that Chicago Wolves assistant coach Wendell Young has been suspended for two (2) regular-season games as a result of his actions following an AHL game vs. Peoria on Mar. 14.

Young was assessed a game misconduct under AHL Rule 41.7 at the 20:00 mark of the third period.

Young will miss the Wolves' games at Omaha tonight (Mar. 16) and vs. Milwaukee on Saturday (Mar. 17).
