SCORING THE FIRST GOAL
Both teams have scored the first goal 30 times this season, but Adirondack is one of the best teams in the league when scoring the first, with a winning percentage of .800 when striking first, which is good for 4th in the league. When they allow the first goal this season, the Thunder have a record of 10-16-1-1. Manchester has a .733 winning percentage when scoring first, but have allowed the first goal in six straight games.
SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE
Manchester's four-game losing streak is tied with their previous season high, when they dropped four straight between Nov. 15- Nov. 19 and Jan. 3 - Jan. 12. The Monarchs have given up six goals in back-to-back games, compared to scoring only six goals in their last four games combined. HOME ICE STRUGGLES
The Monarchs have now dropped four straight at home, and five of their last six at SNHU Arena. Manchester has played 28 games at home this season, posting a 15-11-1-1 record, with a goal differential of +8. Meanwhile, the Monarchs have played well on the road, winning their last three road games to push their record to 18-8-2-1 on the season, while outscoring their opponents by 34 goals on the road.
