
Minnesota Wild Assigns Goalie Darcy Kuemper to Iowa

Des Moines, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Friday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned goaltender Darcy Kuemper to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Kuemper, 23 (5/5/90), was recalled by Minnesota for the second time this season on Oct. 14 and started Tuesday at Toronto, allowing three goals on seven shots in a 4-1 loss. He is 1-3-0 with a 2.44 goals against average (GAA) and a .897 save percentage in seven career NHL games (four starts).
Iowa will play two games this upcoming weekend in Charlotte, starting on Saturday at 6 p.m. (CT) and concluding on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. (CT). The Wild will return home on Thursday, Oct. 24 to host the Chicago Wolves at 7:05 p.m. The game marks the beginning of a five-game home stand for the Wild who will also host the Grand Rapids Griffins on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 5:05 p.m. The game will feature the Subway Family Four Pack, with four tickets, four hot dogs, four hats, four sodas and four popcorns, starting at $44. The game on Oct. 27 will also feature a Halloween Costume Party for fans and a postgame skate.
