Grant Recalled to Ottawa

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators announced this evening that they have recalled forward Derek Grant from their American Hockey League affiliate the Binghamton Senators.

Grant has recorded two goals and five penalty minutes in three games with Binghamton this season. The 2008 fourth round pick from Abbotsford, B.C., was held scoreless in his five appearances with Ottawa last season but lead the American Hockey League with five shorthanded goals. He finished the 2012-2013 season with 19 goals and 28 points in 63 games with the B-Sens.

The B-Sens are in action tonight versus the Syracuse Crunch at the War Memorial Arena. Ottawa will be on the ice again tomorrow when they host the Edmonton Oilers at Canadian Tire Center in a 2 p.m. faceoff.
