
Military Appreciation Night, Fireworks Coming To Freedom July 5th Weekend

FLORENCE, KY - When the Florence Freedom return home for the holiday weekend, three promotion packed nights will await.
It will be fireworks and more fireworks starting with post-game Rozzi fireworks show on both Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6.
Sunday, July 7 will feature the "Fear the Flatop" bobblehead giveaway, and kids can run the bases followed by an entire team autograph session post-game.
Friday, July 5 is a Local 12 Fireworks Friday presented by CBTS. The night is even more special as Jim Beam presents Military Appreciation Night. On July 5, the Freedom will wear specialty camo jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. Proceeds from the jersey sales will go to support Bluegrass Military Affairs Coalition and the Kentucky Wounded Warrior Program.
Thanks to these sponsors, over 750 tickets have been sponsored for military members to attend the July 5 game at no cost.

Perhaps the moment fans will remember above all will be during the 7th inning stretch when the Freedom will stop the game and invite all active and retired military members to come down to the field for a standing ovation. Game time for Friday is set for 6:35pm, with the gates opening at 5:35pm.
Saturday, July 6 will also feature a special patriotic fireworks show detonated by Rozzi, to go along with the 92.5 The Fox Rockin' Saturday presented by Joseph Subaru theme of a post-game concert by Skut Farkis, and kick-ball for kids on the field.
On Saturday, families are encouraged to take advantage of the Freedom's "Picnic on the Park" package that includes:
Four dugout tickets
A pre-game picnic on the field for families
Food and beverage
A Freedom poster
$5 Dick's Sporting Good gift card
The "Picnic in the Park" ticket package is available online or by calling the Freedom box office at 859-594-4487 for only $48.
Sunday, July 7 will wrap up the weekend homestand for the Freedom against the Frontier Greys. Sunday's are Great County 94.1 Family Fun Sundays presented by The Bank of Kentucky. The first 1,500 tickets through the gates will receive a "Fear The Flattop" Bobblehead courtesy of Jack's Glass. Bobbleheads will be given one per two tickets. Game time for Sunday's kids run the bases and autographs day is set for 6:05pm.
The Freedom are members of the professional Independent Frontier League and play all home games at University of Cincinnati Medical Center Stadium located at 7950 Freedom Way in Florence, Kentucky.
