Wichita, KS (Jan. 19th) - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, announced this afternoon that defenseman Dan Milan has been reassigned by the Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL) from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Milan, 22, was called up this past Friday and didn't make an appearance in a game with the Crunch this go-around. Through 36 games, the Detroit, Michigan native equaled his career-high in points (10a) and has collected 82 penalty minutes. Last season, the third year pro totaled 10 points (2g, 8a) and finished with 108 penalty minutes with the Brampton Beast. Prior to turning pro, Milan played 130 games in the QMJHL with the Moncton Wildcats and Victoriaville Tigres. He earned All-Rookie Team honors in 2010-11 when he tallied 38 points (14g, 24a) in Moncton.

Wichita continues on its five-game road swing with two contests in the Black Hills next Friday and Saturday night against Rapid City.
