
Walker Heading to ECHL's All-Star Classic

DULUTH, Ga. - The ECHL named Gladiators' forward Brenden Walker as a reserve to the league's All-Star Classic on Monday. Walker replaces Byron Froese of the Cincinnati Cyclones on the ECHL All-Stars roster.
Walker, 22, has nine goals and 13 assists through 30 games played, third on the Gladiators roster in points. In his most recent contest, Walker chipped in two goals against the Florida Everblades on Saturday and was named the game's First Star. The St. Anne, Manitoba native was originally named as an alternate player on January 8th.
The ECHL will host their All-Star Game festivities on January 20th and the 21st at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
The ECHL All-Star Fan Fest, presented by Walgreen's, with player appearances, interactive game, prizes, giveaways, auctions, memorabilia, and a special Hockey Hall of Fame exhibit, will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
On Wednesday, Jan. 21, the day's events include the ECHL Hall of Fame Luncheon and the 2015 CCM / ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Orlando. Walker will be a part of the ECHL All-Stars side that will take on the Orlando Solar Bears roster. Select ECHL Skills competitions will be held the same night and will be incorporated into the evening's events.
Walker will play in the Gladiators' next home game on Monday, January 19th, as the team takes on the Indy Fuel at a special start time of 12:35 p.m. for the annual MLK Kids' Day Out celebration.
