
Milam and Eberly return to Gwinnett from AHL

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Danny Eberly has been be assigned to the team from the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL and defenseman Troy Milam has been assigned to the team from the Chicago Wolves of the AHL and placed on the 7-day injured reserve.
Eberly returns to the Gladiators where he has posted 21 points off of 7 goals and 14 assists for Gwinnett in 35 games this season. In his first trip to the AHL this year with Norfolk, Eberly has recorded 4 points in 5 games with the Admirals.
The Canton, Massachusetts, native was an 8th round selection of the New York Rangers in the 2000 NHL draft. He played four seasons at R.P.I. where he compiled 51 points in 116 collegiate games.
Milam returns from the Wolves where he appeared in two games with Chicago but did not register a point. Upon his return from Chicago, Milam has been assigned to the 7-day injured reserve list.
The Lake Orion, Michigan native represented the Gladiators for the second time in an ECHL all star game this season picking up an assist for the American Conference squad. At the time of his recall to Chicago, Milam led Gwinnett in assists with 40 helpers on the season in 45 games with the Gladiators.
The Gwinnett Gladiators continue the 2005-06 ECHL season on the road as they travel to Augusta to take on the Lynx at 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14th. The Gladiators play all 36 home games at the Arena at Gwinnett Center located on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth and are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers.
