
Micky Ward to Appear at Sharks Game During Heroes Night Saturday, March 26th

WORCESTER, Mass. - Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd announced today that former professional boxer Micky Ward will appear and sign autographs on Heroes Night when the Worcester Sharks host the Springfield Falcons, on Saturday, March 26 at 7:00PM at the DCU Center. Ward was recently featured in the movie "The Fighter" starring Mark Wahlberg.
Micky Ward, a Lowell, MA native, will be signing autographs from 6:00-7:00pm in the DCU Center concourse.
Doors will open at 4pm as the Worcester Police and Fire Department will faceoff against the Bridgeport, CT Fire Department at 4:30pm for the annual Guns n' Hoses game at the DCU Center. Enjoy two games for the price of one! After the game, several hundred Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts will sleepover at the DCU Center in the first ever Sharks sleepover event which includes; a movie, autograph session, breakfast, and a locker room tour. Reservations are required.
