TULSA, Okla. - The Missouri Mavericks take a three-game winning streak with them on the road tonight as they begin a two-game series at the BOK Center against the Tulsa Oilers. The Mavericks are coming off a nine-game home stand on which they went 7-2-0 while the Oilers are 3-2-1 in their last six home games.

CHECKING THE RIVALRY

The Mavericks are facing the Oilers tonight for the seventh of 11 meetings this season. It's the fourth of six between the clubs at BOK Center where the Mavericks are 1-2-0 so far this season. In their first three visits to Tulsa, the Mavericks have scored the first goal twice and lost both games. Missouri's lone win, on December 9, came after falling behind 2-0 and featured three second-period goals. Missouri has built a 10-6-2 since it last visited Tulsa on December 27 (a 5-2 loss), but that includes a 1-2-2 mark on the road. Tulsa, meanwhile, has gone 6-11-2 since December 27, which includes a 3-2-1 home record. The Oilers have been without all-star goalie Jamie Phillips (3-1-0 vs. Missouri) since a Jan. 19 AHL call-up.

ONE-TIMER * The Mavericks are 7-2-1 over their last 10 games after closing their nine-game home stand with a 7-2-0 mark thanks to Tuesday's 2-1 OT win. Tonight they look to establish their first four-game win streak of the season.
