Nicholls Signs with Straubing Tigers of DEL, Corbett Recalled

WINDSOR, CO. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced Friday that forward Josh Nicholls has accepted a contract to play for the Straubing Tigers of the DEL in Germany for the remainder of the 2016-17 regular season. The Eagles will retain Nicholls' future ECHL rights. Nicholls has posted 11 goals and 21 assists through 30 games this season with Colorado. In addition, defenseman Cody Corbett has been recalled by the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage. Corbett has notched two goals and three assists in seven games with the Eagles.

The Eagles return to action when they take on the Wichita Thunder on Friday, February 10th at 6:00pm MT.
