Mavericks Announce Black Friday Promotions

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - Before the Missouri Mavericks take on Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Friday, November 26, the team will host Black Friday specials from 10 a.m.- Noon at the Top Shelf Team Store at Independence Events Center. The Mavericks are also asking fans to donate canned foods and basic first aid items for Hillcrest Transitional Housing during that time.

* The Mavericks will open up Sections 112 and 113 for the public to watch the Mavericks' pre-game skate starting at 10 a.m.

* Lamars Donuts will provide free donuts and juice and coffee will be available for Mavs fans.

* The Top Shelf Team Store is giving a 15% discount to all fans and a 25% discount to season ticket holders for any merchandise in the team store.

* Fans that purchase a minimum of $50 in tickets for Saturday's game (November 27) will receive a free cotton short-sleeve t-shirt of their choice from the team store

* The Mavericks are also asking fans to bring in canned foods and basic first aid items for Hillcrest Transitional Housing (www.hillcrestkc.org). Any fans that donate will receive an autographed Mavericks' puck courtesy of Santa Fe Glass.

* Game Kart, the Mobile Video Game Theater will be outside the team store with games on four Wiis, three PS3s and four Xbox 360s.

The Mavericks play four games in five nights this week. They start in Bossier-Shreveport on Tuesday before heading home to play three games surrounding Thanksgiving. Missouri will host Bloomington on Wednesday, November 24 and the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Friday, November 26 and Saturday, November 27. Tickets for all remaining regular season home games are on sale now starting at just $14 per game.
