Killer Bees' Gendur Recalled to AHL, Kharin Waived

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release


The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League announced a pair of roster moves on Monday. Forward Dan Gendur, who is under contract with the Nashville Predators of the NHL, has been recalled to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Admirals serve as the Predators AHL affiliate.

While with the Bees the 5'11 forward played 10 games scoring two goals and registering eight assists. Gendur was assigned to the Killer Bees by the Nashville Predators on October 11.

The Killer Bees also announce that forward Anton Kharin has been placed on waivers. Kharin suited up for three games for the Bees and did not register a point. Over the past weekend Kharin was on a leave of absence granted by the league.

The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees are set to face their South Texas rivals with a home and home against the Laredo Bucks. The Bees travel to Laredo tonight with a 7:00 p.m. puck drop and host the Bucks at State Farm Arena on Wednesday, once again at 7:00 p.m.
