Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Milwaukee Brewers have announced that catcher Manny Piña will begin a four-day rehabilitation assignment with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Tuesday, May 28. The Rattlers host the Clinton LumberKings at 6:35pm at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium from Tuesday through Thursday with the Peoria Chiefs set to come to town on Friday, May 31 at 6:35pm.
Piña was placed on Milwaukee's ten-day Inured List on May 16 after suffering a strain to his right hamstring on May 15 in a game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
This is not Piña's first rehabilitation stint with the Timber Rattlers. He went 1-for-3 with a walk against the Dayton Dragons on July 19, 2018.
There are two special games coming up on this homestand in which Piña is expected to play. Thursday night features the Grand Opening of Brews on Third, the new craft beer social media spot at the ballpark. Friday is the first Bratoberfest of the season featuring a Bratman bobblehead giveaway courtesy of Cher-Make and special Wisconsin Brats jerseys to be worn by Piña, the rest of the players, and the coaches.
To see the rest of the special promotions that will be happening during Piña's rehabilitation assignment, check the latest Homestand Highlights release on the Rattlers website.
