The Quad Cities River Bandits, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, have announced the following changes to their roster on Sunday. Pitcher Manny Ramirez has been transferred from extended spring training to Quad Cities. Pitcher R.J. Freure has been transferred from Quad Cities to extended spring training.

Addition:

RHP Manny Ramirez transferred from extended spring training to Quad Cities

Subtraction:

RHP R.J. Freure transferred from Quad Cities to extended spring training

Ramirez, the Astros #27 prospect, according to Baseball America's rankings, went a combined 1-1 with a 4.12 earned run average in stops with the GCL Astros and Tri-City in 2018. The 19-year old struck out 55 in 39.1 innings on the hill. He is expected to pitch out of the bullpen during today's game against Wisconsin.

Ramirez has been assigned #23. The active roster remains at the 25-player limit.
