Goals:

- The Marlies open the scoring on the power play 16:00 into the second period as Josh Leivo scored on a one-timer off a point pass from T.J Brennan.

- Stuart Percy on a point shot through traffic that beats Eric Comrie 17:41 into the third period.

- Ryan Rupert scored on an empty Moose net with 1:38 remaining in the third.

Highlights/Notes:

- The Moose were shutout for the fourth time this season and for the second straight time against the Marlies.

- Eric Comrie made his 11th straight start in the Moose net making 23 saves. He was named the game's third star.

- Rob Madore was named the game's first star of the game after recording a shutout and making 26 saves in the Toronto net. In two games against the Moose this season he has a combined goals against average of 0.50 and a save percentage of .980.

- The Moose now have a record of 0-4-0-1 against the Marlies this season. They will host Toronto three more times before the end of the season (Jan. 9, Feb. 4 & 6).

Next Moose game is Saturday, Jan. 9 at the MTS Centre in the rematch against the Toronto Marlies. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
