- Josh Leivo scored the game winning goal late in the second period while Toronto was on the power play. The goal also extended his point streak to four games.

- TJ Brennan recorded an assist on the Leivo marker as he continues to lead AHL defencemen in scoring with 32 points.

- Jeremy Morin recorded an assist on the opening goal, his first point as a Marlie.
