- Rob Madore improved his record to 4-0-0-0 in a Marlies uniform turning aside all 26 shots he faced.

- Josh Leivo scored the game winning goal late in the second period while Toronto was on the power play. The goal also extended his point streak to four games.

- TJ Brennan recorded an assist on the Leivo marker as he continues to lead AHL defencemen in scoring with 32 points.

- Jeremy Morin recorded an assist on the opening goal, his first point as a Marlie.

- Stuart Percy recorded the second goal for Toronto, his fourth goal of the year. Frederik Gauthier collected the goal's only assist.

- Ryan Rupert sealed the victory for the Marlies, scoring an empty net goal from the Marlies goal line.
